Tallow soap is a traditional, nutrient-rich soap made using beef tallow (rendered fat from grass-fed cattle). It's known for its long-lasting lather, deep moisturising properties, and skin compatibility.

Is it good for sensitive skin?

Yes — tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, and closely mimics the skin’s natural oils. It’s gentle, non-irritating, and often well-tolerated by those with dry, sensitive, or problem-prone skin.

Does it smell like beef?

Not at all. Our tallow soap is either unscented with a neutral, natural aroma, or lightly scented with essential oils like lavender or cedarwood. It has a clean, earthy scent — nothing meaty or greasy.

Can I use it on my face?

Absolutely. Tallow soap is gentle enough for facial use and helps maintain the skin’s natural barrier. Just avoid the eye area and discontinue if irritation occurs.

Is it safe for babies or kids?

Yes — the unscented version is a great option for babies and young children. It contains no harsh chemicals or artificial ingredients, making it a safe, family-friendly choice.

Does it work for acne?

Tallow’s nourishing and non-comedogenic properties help soothe inflamed skin and maintain moisture balance — which may help support acne-prone skin. For some, it works well alongside a gentle skincare routine.

How do I store the bar between uses?

Store it on a well-draining soap holder in a dry spot between uses. This prevents the bar from going soft or dissolving too quickly.

Wet the Soap Bar: Begin by wetting your hands or the area of the body you wish to cleanse.

Lather: Rub the soap bar between your hands or directly onto your skin to create a rich lather.

Cleanse: Gently massage the lather onto your skin in circular motions.

Rinse: Thoroughly rinse off with water.
